You have a scientific mind, but a magical wanderlust. While not one to tap into the weave directly as an ambassador, you understand its usefulness, and know how to utilize science and technology to brute force your way into making the weave do as you command.

Orbital Deployment: Turning Light

When you select this specialization at 3rd level, you gain access to a unique Orbital Deployment.

As action, you call down a beam of radiant light at a point you can see within 60 feet of you. The beam spreads light in a 30-foot radius sphere from that point and all Aberrations, Celestials, Fey, Fiends, or Undead (your choice when you call down this deployment) must make a Wisdom saving throw or be turned by the beam. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from the beam as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of the beam. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.

Specialized Scanner

Starting at 7th level, when you use your Hostile Scanner you can also use it to locate Aberrations, Celestials, Fey, Fiends, or Undead. You also gain Expertise in the Arcana and Religion skills.

Eldritch Activation

Starting at 15th level, you have learned how to manipulate the plane of magic through a mixture of brute force and and scientific progress. You are able to use spell scrolls as if you were a wizard, sorcerer, or warlock of the same level as your ambassador level. You are considered capable of casting spells as high as the highest spell a caster of that class could cast at your level.

In addition, when you call down your Dropship Supplies, you can call expend two uses to call down three levels worth of spell scrolls, containing a wizard, sorcerer, or warlock spell on each.

These scrolls cannot be transcribed into a wizard’s spellbook or a warlock’s Book of Shadows.

Orbital Deployment: Eldritch Annihilation

At 20th level, you gain access to a special Orbital Deployment.

As an action you request a 9th-level spell scroll to be dropped at an unoccupied space you can see within 60 feet of you. The spell can be from the wizard, sorcerer, or warlock spell list (other than the wish spell), but it must be a spell you have seen cast before. If the scroll is not used within 1 minute, it crumbles to dust under its own magical power.

Once you have used this Orbital Deployment, you cannot do so again until you complete a long rest.
