Heavy Gunner

You revel in the delight of gunpowder and hot lead. The sounds of muffled gunshots and expended shells tapping on the ground create a symphonic harmony to you. You fight for all, but mostly, you fight for the love of battle and the thrill of war. The magical frontier offers all of this and more and you seek to dive in, feet first.


Orbital Deployment: Light Machine Gun

When you select this specialization at 3rd level, you gain access to a unique Orbital Deployment.


As an action, you call down a special weapon at a point you can see within 60 feet of you. In the location a light machine gun with 50 bullets and no attachments appears. The weapon lasts for 1 minute or until it is destroyed. In addition, you can use your Strength modifier for attack and damage rolls with this weapon instead of Dexterity.


At 5th level the weapon has an Enhanced Sight attachment (+1 bonus to attack rolls), at 10th level the weapon also has a Stabilizer Barrel (+1 to ranged weapon attack rolls) . At 15th level the Light Machine Gun lasts until you use this Orbital Deployment again or you run out of ammunition, wherein the weapon destroys itself.


True Heavy

Starting at 7th level, ranged weapon attacks you make with Heavy firearms are considered magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances and immunities and deal an additional 2 points of damage on a hit. This damage doubles when you reach 15th-level. Lastly, you ignore the strength requirement for heavy armor.

Protective Juggernaut

At 15th level, you gain a set of Juggernaut Armor if you do not have a set already. While you wear it, you ignore its size restriction and movement speed reduction.

In addition, creatures your size or smaller within 5 feet of you you while you are wearing Juggernaut Armor and wielding a heavy weapon have three-quarters cover from ranged attacks and other effects.

Firing Inferno

Beginning at 20th level, when you use the Attack action to make a ranged weapon attack with a heavy weapon you can make one additional ranged weapon attack with the weapon as a bonus action. If this is your Light Machine Gun from your Special Orbital Deployment, you may make two additional weapon attacks.

Additionally, any two-handed firearm you wield that does not have the automatic property gains it. At the end of a long rest, you can modify any two-handed firearm and grant it the automatic property    for any creature that wields it.
