Festival Badges

These badges are given out at the Festival of Chaos for winning various festival games and activities. Badges are single-use magic items that can impart a small boon for a short period of time.

Badge of Archery

Wondrous Item, common

When you press this badge to a nonmagical shortbow, longbow, or crossbow as an action, you gain a +2 to attack rolls with that weapon for 1 hour, and the weapon becomes magical.

Once the badge has been used it becomes nonmagical.

Badge of the Arm Wrestler

Wondrous Item, common

When you place this badge on your bicep and flex as an action, you can hold weapons with the two-handed property with one hand, provided you are not wielding another weapon, for one hour.

Once the badge has been used it becomes nonmagical.

Badge of the Drunkard

Wondrous Item, common

When you drop this coin in a mug of ale, it begins to dissolve into the drink. Once the drink is consumed as an action, you regain 2d4+2 hit points.

Badge of the Greased Pig

Wondrous Item, common

When you place this badge on the outside of a worn garment as an action, you gain advantage on checks to escape grapples for one hour.

Once the badge has been used it becomes nonmagical.

Badge of the Intellectual

Wondrous Item, common

When you place this badge in the center of your forehead and press on it as an action, you gain advantage on Intelligence checks and saving throws for the next hour.

Once the badge has been used it becomes nonmagical.

Badge of the Log Tosser

Wondrous Item, common

As an action you can place this badge in the palm of your hand and squeeze tightly. For the next hour you can toss Medium or smaller creatures or objects you are grappling up to 30 feet away from you to an unoccupied space you can see. A creature thrown in this way must succeed a DC 10 Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone in the space they land.

Once the badge has been used in this way it becomes nonmagical.

Badge of the Rodeo Rider

Wondrous Item, common

When you place this badge on the outside of a worn hat as an action, you gain advantage on either Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution saving throws (your choice when you place the badge) for the next hour.
